Create your own Donor Advised Foundation

The following advantages are possible using a donor advised foundation:
  1. Avoid the high cost of private foundations by using a donor advised foundation.

  2. Receive current charitable income tax deductions and reduce current income taxes.

  3. Create an endowment which will benefit charity in your family's name forever.

  4. Fund your foundation during your lifetime or through your will.

  5. Reduce potential estate taxes.

What is the purpose of the U.S. Family Foundation, Inc.?

The U.S. Family Foundation, Inc. was established to allow you and your family to have the charitable and tax advantages of a family foundation while avoiding the high cost of a private foundation.

The U.S. Family Foundation, Inc. will oversee your charitable direction making sure that all charities are compliant with IRS regulations and that your family's donations are made each year forever as directed.

Most individual family foundations established under the U.S. Family Foundation, Inc. direct that each year eighty percent of the growth in assets of your foundation be paid out to the charities of your choice. The remaining twenty percent is added back to the principal. This should mean that the charities receive an increasing donation over time in your family's name. Also, it allows the charities to budget more accurately and provides a stabilizing influence on the charities' finances.
